The National Agency for European Educational
Programmes has selected as a member the participation request for "Comenius",
this application was processed by the IESO Quercus.
The Comenius Program’s objectives are to promote the knowledge and comprehension
of cultural diversity and the European languages within the young and the educational
staff. Comenius wants as well to help the young to acquire basic skills for life,
their personal development, their future job and their active European citizenship.
Our School will be a member of the project "MUSIC MATTERS". In its creation
diverse schools from seven different European countries will contribute during the
next two years. At the end of each academic year students and teachers will have
a meeting in one of the selected countries. The closing ceremony will end a program
that had the participation of students and teachers of the countries listed bellow:
Belgium, Lithuania, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
I want to encourage the educational community and the town council to support, contribute
and participate in the diverse activities proposed by the local coordinator, Domingo
González Calzada, Spanish Language and Literature teacher of our School. |
